Carol Robinson:
Carol is an “Encourager Extraordinaire” of others and has been actively leading a spiritual life amongst the chaos of a full working life. And, while there have been numerous challenges along the way, all in all, this has been the best way she has found to stay engaged and focused. Many people may believe that being spiritually focused means you have few problems in your life. Carol has found that in her life, being spiritually centered means that she has access to a place and energy to which she can reliably return and gain back a sense of calm, clarity, and focus that sustains her in moving forward again. She has found, in her own experience, that one doesn’t have to go live as a recluse on a mountain top to have access to being present in your own life.
Carol is a member of Spiritual Directors International. Her main influence in spiritual practice has come from having the privilege of being guided and taught by the Rev. Bob McGee for over 20 years. She learned the art of conversation-centered spiritual direction directly from this talented master teacher.

Carol has a varied and well-rounded background as an IT manager in banking, a family therapist in an in-patient psychiatric hospital setting, and a career and life coach. In addition, she participated in the development of a co-operative housing community, where she lived for many years and developed meaningful relationships in equal partnership with her neighbors. Through all of these experiences, Carol has taken the opportunity to grow and engage with others in an honest, direct, and thoughtful manner, finding ways to honor the mutual respect she has for others. Carol has used the abilities she has developed, to be present to hearing the concerns of others, and to give them the experience of being present in their own life as a way to move forward.
